Description:

With an emphasis on plant observation and color theory, this class explores a exciting range of mediums, from color pencil to watercolor.

Advance online registration is required. These classes will be exploring color pencil, graphite, pen and ink, and watercolor on various papers, vellum and other surfaces. The emphasis will be on plant observation, drawing, composition, color theory and matching, and medium techniques.  Come join us for an open studio experience to practice and perfect techniques.

Members:

Members receive a discount on the botanical art and illustration classes. Please make sure you are signed into your Arboretum account to access member discount. Cancellation & Refund Policy:
Cancellations must be requested in advance of one week prior to the program start date in order to qualify for a refund. Cancellations requested within 7 days of the class start date will not qualify for a refund. The Arboretum does not offer credit or reschedules for missed classes. If you are unable to cancel within the required refund window, please consider your program fee a donation to the garden. Your registration confirms your understanding of and agreement with this policy.
