Join us for an open-studio style painting session at the Arboretum, with all materials provided. An instructor will be present to answer questions and offer suggestions throughout the session. The oil paints are professionally formulated and imported. They are water-soluble; giving off no harmful fumes, are safer and clean-up is easier. Students may use fusion painting which is a process of using acrylic (which dries in 15 minutes) to paint the background and overlaying oil on top (which dries in 4-6 days).
The student will be using professional canvases and special brushes. This class is appropriate for people that have experience with basic painting skills and can read the color wheel for color mixing and who wish to paint in the company of others at the beautiful arboretum.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:
Cancelations must be requested in advance of one week prior to the session start date in order to qualify for a refund. Cancellations requested within 7 days of the class start date will not qualify for a refund. The Arboretum does not offer credit or reschedules for missed classes. If you are unable to cancel within the required refund window, please consider your program fee a donation to the garden. Your registration confirms your understanding of and agreement with this policy.
