May 3rd: Change and Adaptation: 10 Years at the Crescent
Join John Latsko in the garden for a tour and conversation about the last 10 years of Crescent Farm. Learn more about the seasonal changes, the adaptations, and what's next for the Crescent. 

July 12th: Building Fire Resilience with Native Gardens
Join the conversation on Zoom with John and Povi Pullinen, a Crescent volunteer and native plant aficionado. Learn about how many popular and lesser-known native plants, trees, and shrubs exhibit fire and wind resilience. John and Povi will explore how and why these plants work so well in fire prone areas and which may suit your needs in creating a long-term solution to today's changing climate pressures. We'll review plants and highlight those already existing on the Crescent and what might work well in your yard. 

November 8th: Lasagna Mulching Workshop
Join us on site for a hands-on workshop at the Crescent. You will learn about the value of this tried-and-true method of soil-building and weed suppression, how it's used at the Crescent and how it may work in your yard!  Be prepared for a lot of hands-on fun and to get a little dirty. We recommend bringing a pair of gloves.
