Each new 6-week session features a different theme with new and exciting explorations of the unfolding seasonal changes in the gardens.

A Heartwarming Autumn

Winds whirl and colorful leaves flutter, creating the perfect setting for an autumn gathering at The Arboretum. Families are invited to celebrate the season together with heartwarming stories and family crafts, creating special keepsakes to treasure from this beautiful time of year.

“Acorns & Oaks” classes are taught by Betsy Edelberg (founder of Playgroup LA) who has taught hundreds of parents and children over 17 years! Betsy holds 3 degrees in Child Development. She has certifications in Children’s Yoga, Brain Gym, and training in Waldorf Early Child Education.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

Cancellations requested up to two weeks in advance of the session start date will receive a full refund. Cancellations requested less than two weeks in advance of the session start date do not qualify for a refund. We do not offer credits or makeup dates. The Los Angeles Arboretum Foundation reserves the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the class non-viable. If the Arboretum cancels a class, registrants will be offered a full refund.
