Join us for a relaxed, inspiring open-studio painting experience set among the beauty of the Arboretum. All materials are provided, and an experienced instructor will be available throughout the session to answer questions, offer tips, and support your creative process. Work with professionally formulated, imported oil paints that are water-soluble, low-odor, and easy to clean up—making for a safer, more enjoyable painting experience. Participants may also experiment with fusion painting, combining fast-drying acrylics for the background (about 15 minutes) with richly layered oils on top (drying in 4–6 days).
This class is ideal for painters with a foundation in basic techniques and color mixing who can read the color wheel and are looking to create in community, surrounded by the natural inspiration of the Arboretum.

Session registration opens a month prior to session start date.
Cancellation & Refund Policy:
Cancelations must be requested in advance of one week prior to the session start date in order to qualify for a refund. Cancellations requested within 7 days of the class start date will not qualify for a refund. The Arboretum does not offer credit or reschedules for missed classes. If you are unable to cancel within the required refund window, please consider your program fee a donation to the garden. Your registration confirms your understanding of and agreement with this policy.
